That goes without saying. For example, one major diference is that 
Genesis is a commercial product. That means it will have technical 
support, recieve regular updates, and perhaps can offer different 
licensing plans. For example, perhaps I can have a basic eddition for 
developers like you who only want to redistribute free games. Then, 
their can be a pro version which requires a more expensive license to 
create games.
