I can't imagine how you'd do that in Jd, afterall the players can't exactly shoot each other.
the best you could do would be endurence type matches where the last player standing won, or first to X amount of points, ---- though maybe you could do something like a tug of war where each ship one player shot transferred oover to the other player's side, maybe with options of getting power-ups which decreased the other player's shields, stopped their guns or stole items from them. I'm guessing though that this type of things is beyond the way you want Jd to go though. I'm not a pvp person myself, these were just some suggestions. Beware the Grue!
