Yeah. And just to warn you, the three eneies you face immediately after you defeat the woman with the skull are resistant to magic, so you definitely want a better MR. I learned long ago that whatever your character's focus you always want a backup in case their main ability doesn't work. Magic is an excellent example because of the very fact that more and more enemies in the game are resistant to it. The Phantom Assassin and many enemies in the Shattered Skull events are great examples.
