Hi all,
I finally bought a new computer last week, and it came with Vista premium,
as expected, some good, some bad.
I realize I need to install directX 9c for games written for that version of
DX to work, does anyone have a reccomended way of going about this? I
downloaded the DX 9c from microsoft, and though I ran it instead of
downloading, it asked me for a place to put the files, which I did, but now
what, this process isn't exactly intuitive, and I don't want to screw something
up.
Is there anything else I need to know regarding making vista backward
compatible with games written for XP and 98?
Also, I have activated jaws 9 twice now, but each time I reboot, it asks for
activation again and goes into demo mode, any tips on this goofy problem?
If anyone knows of a site I can go to to learn more about using Vista with
accessibility software, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks for any info,
Che
