You leve up automatically when you've reached a certain point in your 
primary stats. You can see how much you need to level up in the character 
pane. It gets kind of complicated, since you earn points to gain stat 
points, and you have to earn enough stat points to gain a level, so really 
you're earning multiple sets of points. Hope that wasn't too confusing, lol.
