Hi Phil,
I have tried using a

patronis charm when entering the head masters office and that solves the issue
with getting my stuff stolen, but that isn't really the problem here. It just
starts into her walking up some stairs, sounds like some big doors opening, and
I hear myself in a room with everyone in it, and then I find myself on a marble
staircase. If I press enter I end up in a entrance hall with a door leading
back to the second floor and a broom closet. There is no door into the head
masters office. Seriously, there is blank walls. No door that you describe. I'm
not sure if it is just acting funny hear, user screw up, or the dreaded head
masters office bug at fault.
Can you give me a specific x/y coordinate where to look for the door to double
check I am doing this right?

P.S.

I am elsewhere in the game collecting gear so I can always run back down to the
second level and test out any more suggestions you might have. I really want to
go catch me a snake. A big ugly one that lives under Hogwarts.
