Hi Jim.

To be honest, I no almost nothing about the intricate rules of Ping 
pong, ---- or even computer pong (slightly before even my time). I was 
simply thinking in terms of game experience rather than simulation, giving 
the player some choice of game length when perhaps they'd rather not have a 
long game?

Btw, you've got me interested now. obviously sinse your pong game doesn't 
have a net, and has balls bouncing off the sides of the playing area rather 
than falling off the table, it's more in line with the computer pong of the 
1970's rather than table tenis. hmmmm, I wonder what the actual rules of 
pong are?

too the wikipedia!!!!
