Hey Tom - hope you don't mind me emailing you off list man.

It's looking fairly likely that I'm going to be interviewed and
demonstrating some accessible and mainstream titles for the In Touch
feature being discussed. With your permission, I'd like to show off a
bit of MOTA. Thought I'd better check thak that you'd be happy for
people to hear it in action at this beta stage, and also that there's
no chance that rebroadcasting the samples you've used won't get you
into any hot water just in case The Man is listening hehe. If it's a
go, feel free to send me over notes on any parts or features of the
game that you're particularly proud of and I'll do my best to make
sure that they get an airing.

Btw, seeing as you're stateside you might not have heard of In Touch,
though I'm sure you've heard of the BBC. In Touch is, to be truthful,
a bit crap lol. It's a weekly program that has information and
features on anything and everything to do with blindness pretty much.
It's all a bit dated and dull to listen to to my ears, but for some
reason they do have a huge listenership (a couple million regulars if
memory serves), mostly made up of teachers/parents/people who for
whatever reason want to stay in the know about happenings and products
that might have some impact on VI peoples lives. Having spent a
paragraph slating it, I'm keen to go on a feature like this to spread
the word and hopefully liven things up a bit. Seems to me that a few
Grandma's and Grandpa's might want to buy presents, people who work in
access technology might need a refresher on the specialised scene, and
teachers might think that gaming is a better violent outlet for little
Jonny so they can stop him from playing staple the cat to the school
fence lol!

Let me know what you make of the idea...

Cheers
Scott
