There's a good bit of info on the homepage you can look up on the game. There is indeed an eventual end to it but no idea how long that might take to get to. Too bad the smurf village was lost. *l*

Get your friend faldor to follow you, and get the wolf if you can. That'll set you up with a pretty awesome party and you'll be able to kill most things. From then on its kind of up to you, you can see what you're supposed to do for your quest by typing quest. Still, the quests are kind of vague once you get past the second one, I still haven't managed to complete quest 3 yet.
