Hi. as an experiment I tried loading the game while in the actual game a saved game slot that was empty. This was inside the game not in the menu, it was unavalible, however all sounds of everything went away, no weapon keys worked till I pushed in the number 1 for pistol then the w key worked. Although the torch burned items did not work, ie I heard no noise neither did statues and other game elements work. I don't think its just uninstalling the game, something else is up.
