Hi Johnny,
I have made my best profit by taking 50,000 pounds of oranges on the southern
route. But I have also made a profit by taking like 38,000 pounds of oranges
on the northern or middle route. One thing that I normally do is to drive the
speed limit as you get the best mileage that way.
BTW My best profit is a couple of dollars shy of $2,000.
One gentleman once said that he made $2,000 by taking freight and getting to
New York in time to get the early bonus. I have never been able to do that.
