I used to think like you. However that was when I was in my twenties. I'm not sure how old you are, but without making an assumption, I imagine you are quite younger than me. While I see where you are coming from with this statement, there is the possibility of burn out. And if you reach burn out level, trust me, you won't care about the computer. have you or anyone else wondered why I stopped doing ACB Radio 80's music shows, why I stopped doing as much gaming as I used to? It's because I was doing all that, plus trying to spend time with my wife and kids and I was getting burned out.

So now I have an even balance and I've prioritized on what I want to spend time on. Sure I use Twitter and Facebook. Sure I play games still and on occasion do some recordings. But in addition to working over 50 hours per week on a slow week, I still find time to spend with my kids and family. It's meant that I've had to cut way back on some of the things I wanted to do and some things I don't do at all any more, but the rewards are worth it.

So just some thoughts on a Friday morning.

Hi,

I myself will start working shortly. The computer is a major part of my life.
So after work I will go home and spend the rest of my night in front of the
computer. And when I get up in the morning I will get up extra early to go on
the computer before work to twitter and check mail. The computer is my life,
although I cannot write code I use it in other ways.
