Well two years is close enough since March will soon be here again. So the
last thing we need is for a few lousy cheapskates to crack the game and pass
it around once it's released. It is, after all, the first true audio RPG
we've had actually come to fruition and I for one want to see more.
Homer: Hey, uh, could you go across the street and get me a slice of pizza?
Vender: No pizza. Only Khlav Kalash.

Well, ---- he started developement in march of 2008, ---- so two years was
rounding up a litle bit.
It's stil a long time, ---- and while I know there are audio games which
have been in developement for longer, ---- bare in mind this was
absolutely constant coding, with new version, new features put into the
game etc, ---- no bickering over licenses or shinanigans with changing
companies to slow things down.
Beware the grue!

No kidding! I mean two years, folks, two! years! It's one thing, though
just as inexcusable, to ask to get Q9 for free but even more so to try to
crack Entombed. I can only hope enough people pay for Entombed to make
Jasonf eel it worthwhile to continue the series. We lost one audio RPG
due to licensing conflicts between developers. Let's not lose another
because of a few lousy cheapskates.

Entombed was always going to be commercial, ---- bare in mind Jason has
been working on it for the last two years nearly! in fact, I think it'd
be a great shame indeed if he doesn't get enough good response to this
to create more games.
Yes, muds are free.
muds are also multiplayer, single character, usually lack decent
questing or story for specific in game elements, ---- and do not have
sound or music.
while I've not had mud experience, I'd also imagine you'd be hard
pressed to find a mud with enemies who are as intelligent, or
interesting to fight as the entombed monsters, ---- much less one which
allows you so many actions during combat with your various characters.
entombed is also randomized, so even if combining and rescuing different
character classes doesn't give enough replay value, --- randomly created
dungeons and items certainly should!
I'll admit, I'm actually slightly narked that when someone spends two
solid years writing a high quality audio game, ---- not to mention the
first ever! serious audio rpg, ---- the first response we get is "oh I
can't be bothered to pay for the game, ---- there are plenty of muds!"
I'll admit I'm heavily biased, ---- sinse I've been very much involved
with entombed from the start, and the muds I've tried have been less
than satisfactory in terms of quests and in game history.
Beware the grue!
Dark.
