Hi William.
first, as I said, i really see nno issue with freeware remakes (there are
enough graffical ones).
Second, ---- well, having game ideas is part of the design process.
Myself, I have longed to write a textual rpg game like Sryth for years, and
have several ideas which i hope will be able to create an interesting and
highly playable game which avoids all the issues of others I've seen.
some ideas are entirely mine uniquely. Others, are similar to games like
fallthru, Sryth gamebooks, and the mutants and masterminds roleplay system,
but hopefully the way i intend to put them together is unique and will
produce my own creation.
so in short, "be! creative! ;D.
Ps, I'm not saying any of my ideas are good, ---- we'll just have to see
when I've hopefully learnt enough code to put at least some of them into
practice.
Beware the Grue!
dark.

Subject: [Audyssey] games created with b.g.t.
hi all, how can we seriously make our own games with b.g.t.
half the ideas ahve probably already been used and copyrighted so aren't
we stuck?
We can't even do our own spinoffs like classics such as sonic etc. so
what's point?
Half the ideas most of us will ahve are probably based on games we have
seen our sighted family or friends playing
