mmm, space is really litle object with computers these days.
my harddrive is currently 500 gb, and I've filled barely 150. My external
drive (which i bought several years ago in 2005), is 236 gb, ---- however
when it gets full i'll simply upgrade to something larger.
With drives up to two terrabite in size, really you don't need to
worry, ---- pluss of course you can always have a second drive disk stuck in
a desktop.
the only mildly irritating thing is that my laptop bought in 2006 has only a
36 gb drive, but sinse most of the 150 gb I have is audio and music, I just
substitute what I need when I need it.
Beware the grue!

I have to agree, because at least if your computer goes wrong, you still
have your hard drive. Off cource if you have a lode of stuff, it could mean
that you can't pack some things in to your hard drive.
My audio games for the blind group.

Well you can alwways have extra space loaded on your computer, but
keeping a separate harddrive just for backups avoids any and all misshaps
from viruses to hardware failures to your computer being stolen by
gremlins and maide into a crown for the new king of Gremlinland!
My external drive sits in a box under my bed, and every few weeks I pull
it out, plug it in, and copy all the important stuff across, then unplug
it again and put it away.
Thus, I can try anything with my pc I wish, don't have to worry as much
about viruses, and can easily transfer stuff to my laptop or any other
machine without hassle (though I also own a memory key for quick
transfers betwene times as well).
Beware the grue!

True, true indeed. But you could have a 200 Gig hard drive that could be
put into th ecomputer. As for Memory sticks, they have 8 gigs, and I
heard that there is one that is 16.
