Hi. I don't exactly agree with you.
When you play uno, people are reasonable, and after all it's a friendly card game.
You play a card, you say uno and that's it.
Even if you say a bit later people understand. But this is not the case here. When you have a game that allows people catch you for half a second or less, the game (in my opinion) allows bad spirit and some random decisions because if a guy has faster internet connection allways wins the game. For me the spirit of uno is that you are in a friendly place having fun together and calmly you play and the player with better strategy wins. I think that with my idea, having two seconds for saying uno without beeing disturbed, the problem would be solved because when you have uno you can calmly play but if you are trying to hide it from the other players you can be caught anyway later.
Cheers

Hi,
In real life, that really isn't any different, considering then it becomes
who talks the fastest.<Grin> But more seriously, I've noticed the same
thing. It really depends on how uno-conscious this or that player is, but
internet connections are the real problem here.

Hi people.
I tried it allready and I'm really impressed.
I think the concept is great and the fun that we feel while playing and
interacting with people is amazing.
There is obviously still things to improve but let's be patient.
There is allthough one thing that I allready reported to Ryan that I
don't like in uno.
I hope they will change somehow because in chat I know that more people
don't like it.
It is about catching people when they don't say uno.
I'm not against the concept, I just think that the game is made in a way
that for moments, it's not a friendly card game, it becomes an action
game. Not mentionning that probably internet connections and stuff can
influence that.
It happened to me allready several times that I played the card with
enter, I had allready the finger in u I pressed very quickly and
anyways, I was caught. I think it's not fair .
My idea, for keeping the game friendly and nice for everyone is that the
person after pressing enter, could have one or two seconds for calmly
press u without beeing disturbed because if not the person who wins is
not the one with better strategy but the one with fastest fingers.
I know the concept was ok but people abuse.
The rest, for me the games are absolutely great.
Cheers,

Hi Ryan,

Excellent job on the client. However, I have a few tings to say about it.
Firstly, (and really the only thing I'm discussing here) are the rule
changes. In Uno, the reverse card reverses to the previous person that
played, not back to you. Also, in monopoly, although the rules do state
that
you must erect equally, there is no rule that says you must build one
house
at a time.,

Hayden
