summary.
Although there are no special cues, knowledge of move ranges, hit priorities
and whatnot, you get something quite complex that is, as Tom said, quite
steep for someone who hasn't played console games before. However,
fortunately there are enough mainstream gamers on the list to help f you do
decide to start down that road.

Hmmm...Yes and no. The game is a part of the fighting genre so if you
are good at memorizing things and have figured out the various moves
etc in theory anyone who is blind can learn to play it. However, it
isn't accessible in the sense everything is speech friendly, there are
special queues for the blind, etc. You would probably require some
sighted assistance at first to get the hang of the game. Plus this is
a console game, not a PC game, so if you aren't use to playing console
games in general that would up your learning curve somewhat.
