Hi. Yes very true, this series is definitely known for what dialog and stuff there is to be kind of over the top. I did not end up going to pick up my copy yesterday, am kind of under the weather and don't feel up to dealing with the blasted mall which is where the gamestop that I know where it is is located. So can't make any comments on how dark the game is, but I will most likely end up agreeing with your assessment.
