well this may not be purely gaming but I have noticed my system
running hot especially when playing games.
I have a desktop stand with a fan in it which costs not much.
to all sighted that don't know it looks like a nice docking station
of sorts till I tell them it cools the system to and only for 20 bucks.

Actually quite seriously the reason I send so many E-mails is that
not only do I do it naturally, but when I'm working on my thesis,
if I want a break after doing quite a bit of writing, I check my
mail and comment back.
So the net result is I actually check my mail more when i'm working ;D.
