HI, I have to agree. Using the cartisian system is great for those of us who appreciate mathematics (myself included, heheh) but I have to agree the compass system of degrees works better and is much more commonly used. Also, I believe north and south are reversed in some way: I find myself going north and having my y coordinate decrease.
