Weather the game is installed or not probably doesn't have anything to do with it. Keep in mind the RS Client and Quentin's Playroom are not written in Visual Basic. I think whatever is wrong with your friend's games probably has to do with a Visual Basic compatibility issue with Win 7.

His enter key works on everything else, such as games that don't need installed and it works fine on the RS Games Client and Quinton's Playroom.
