The speaker test isn't actually the game panning sounds. It is just a recording where sounds pan within the actual file. I could be wrong, so don't quote me on this, but I think the sound test file was made and sent in by a Swamp fan. I can't remember who it was though, so if the original author reads this perhaps they'll want to adjust the panning to more extremes.
