Hi Zack.
Not last time I checked. I'm not sure though if this is oversite, or because
it's more an English/american variation on the game, while Manu and the
others who worked on pontes backgammon is obviously from Rumania, here
apparently it's a much more common game, indeed I remember when i visited
griece loads of people were playing it and I really wished i knew how, ----
though thanks to pontes backgammon I obviously now do.
i suggest though dropping manu an E-mail, sinse I've found him and his team
very receptive to suggestions and ideas about the game.
Beware the grue!
Dark.

Hi Dark and all,
Did they ever add the doubling cube and related elements? I seem to recall
that was missing at one point, and always like that idea in regular
backgammon. It made things interesting for multiple games.
Yours,
Zack.

the difficulty does increase.
My only real problem with the game, and it's not really a problem, is
that after choosing starting colours at the start of a match, your pretty
much stuck with that colour however many games you play. For variety I'd
rather like to see it alternate myself, or perhaps there be a colour
choice after each match.
This is however a miner issue and I believe Manu will fix it at some
point.
Beware the grue!

Hi Dark,
From what I've seen, it looks to be a good game. I'll grab a copy
today.
I'm looking forward to trying it on difficult.

Hi.
Firstly, yes, I have often found players online, especially at times in
the
evening, but obviously the more people perchice the game, the more
online
players there will be.
As to the other settings, most distinctly! they are harder. hard I can
beat
sometimes, but expert is really quite difficult, and I haven't yet tried
the
various alternative modes.
In general, pontes backgammon is one of the best put together
traditional
games I've seen, with lots of features like background ambience, music
etc,
not to mention laguage packs and even the chance to play with the mouse,
and
I'd encourage nyone to try it, ---- this one really! impressed me.
Beware the grue!
Dark.
