Well if we did have the ability to support most or all blind games with say touch I'd like to have a vibrating touchpad.
lonewolf, you get hit you know about it.
in swamp you get hit or you shoot at a zombie you know about it.
This also brings up sertain 3d things we couldn't experience.
For example you can switch viewpoints in a lot of mainstreams.
So you could be the play pov
The enemy pov
a bystander pov and so on.
you could be in any position and that would really rock.

the new interface is just fine, once your used to it. there are no
accessibility problems.
and yes, there are screen readers working on touch. nvda is now close
to being able to bring out touch support, hopefully in the next
version. it works very well, and offers quite a lot of accessibility.
and in fact, in some ways, is going to offer access to windows such as
we have never known.
agreed, narator, is stil not up to par with other built in readers
that we have seen. but it is a very, very different program then it
used to be. far more able to be used then anything windows has had
yet. and its command structure and use feels a lot like voiceover.
as for gaming, i dout that we would use much in the new interface for
gaming, most games would be still standard desktop apps, and will work
just as they ever have. how ever, for the few games that would perhaps
work on there, i think it could be quite interesting, and very fun to
have games in the windows store you can download and use.
not to sure how they would work yet, as the games that are there
aren't that usable. but it would certainly be very interesting to see
just how powerfull the platform could be for basic games. could be
very accessible, if done right, i think.
