Hello all. My name is Kirstan and many years ago, I was a part of this community. As time went on and as often happen, I got quite busy and didn't have time to stay on all my lists, so unfortunately got off most of them. I am back now and have a question which I hope, someone on here can help me with. I am very soon, to get a brand new, Toshiba Laptop loaded with Windows 7. This is wonderful but has been causing me a great deal of worry. I have played a few muds over the years, and mainly play a mud called Legend. I have been playing it for over 10 years using a mud client called Gmud. I know this is an old fashioned client, but it has suited my needs very well. My question is, what mud client can I use on my new computer with the Windows 7 loaded? I have been trying out the portable version of Mush, in the hopes I could use this client on my new computer. today however, I noticed it said on the forum, that you have to do all these things to get it to run right. I really only want to install a very basic mud client on my new computer. Please, can anyone tell me which one I should use? I have heaps and heaps, 10 years plus worth of alias's, triggers and macros I need to load into this new mud client, so also, it would help if the client was an easy one to configure.
