Sinse I live in the UkI have absolutely no idea who would sell such things
in the us, (indeed I rarely know who would sell what in the Us).
Sanheisa, though I am possibly misspelling the name,are a very high level
brand of speakers, headphones and things of that sort. my main headphones
from them cost over £200, or around 300 usd, they do however very much sound
it, and also they will last literally years! (my last pair lasted 12 years
and in fact the main headphones still work, it's just a screw in the casing
that has broken).
I originally decided on sanheisa by going to my local good quality hi fi
shop and basically listening to all the various brands of headphones playing
the same cd, unfortunately while this did result in the best, it also
resulted in the most expensive, however this was one occasion when i did get
what I'd paid for.
Of course, I don't take a set of headphones like that around with me. For my
laptop and Iphone I use a set of sanheisa ear buds, which don't sound quite
as good, but are better than most commercial earbuds and headsets at a
similar price range, ---- they cost £30, but need to usually be replaced
every two years or so, though in fairness I do get considderable use out of
them every day.
