Hi,
If you open up monkey term, then close the recent connections list if it
appears with alt f4, press control+n. That will open a new xml. it should
also open the connections dialogue in that xml, where the first field is the
name, like alter aeon or aardwolf or pretty much anything you want the title
of the window to be, next is the host name, then the port. Press enter, and
it should connect. You may need to type sdisconnect if it automatically
connects to alter aeon -- can't remember if it does, but if it does just do
that then press f4 then enter to open and close the connection dialogue.
Make sure you save the xml, which it should prompt you to do when closing an
unsaved new xml, but just to make sure you don't have to recreate it every
time :D.
Hth,
-Michael.

Subject: [Audyssey] monkeyterm question
Hi, all,
Is Monkeyterm just a mud scripting program or is it also a mud client? If
it is also a mud client then how do you use it to connect to a mud world? I
have been studying it and I can only see .xml items. I have installed
monkeyterm and mtscripts, but I can’t find where you can enter the name of a
world or make the connection.
Thanks for help
Allen
