Perhaps "showing up" means something else where you're from, but in England speak it's quite negative. Personally, I'd say making gigantic sweeping statements and including words like retarded does a lot more to show you up than someone who enjoys tackling as much as they can of a console game, or plays through a translator if that's what's needed to get them through a good title of their favourite genre. I'm not narked because I fall into either one of these categories nowadays, I am however a smidgen irritated that I can't recall the last time a message arrived from this guy that didn't contain something which would be mildly to moderately offensive to someone somewhere on language content alone. I realise that there are many fine lines to dance along when it comes to freedom of speech, political correctness etc, but seriously, are there list guidelines in place for a reason or not?
