 Going to 0.9.7 seems to be a pretty safe bet. Especially as it seems
to fix things for some people. I will see whether I can prepare a
tarball with the 3.0.3 changes (all pretty minor) plus apr-0.9.7.

 Going to apr-1.2.2 seems to be a bit more involved (doesn't compile),
but may be desirable because of the integrated multicast support.
