I think the idea of changing that metric to mean only RW partitions is good,
and probably matches better the intent of what was being monitored, and
therefore have no objections.

but I think that in order to do it right and for consistency; we should do 
that also in all other supported platforms; which means full platform
regressions that could delay the current release;  which I though from the 
original post from Bernard was in some sort of "code freeze".

As an example, I have in the pipeline completing metrics for Solaris and
adding support for OpenBSD which I was considering material for next release,
presuming that all current platforms were already tested with the current 
release candidate.
