Yes, that's the thread I remembered, thanks. Indeed we are using redhat (CentOS 4 in this case) x86 with kernel 2.6.9 and ethernet card "Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme II BCM5708 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 12)" - exactly the combination others reported. If I understand that thread correctly, this problem is fixed by either upgrading to a kernel 2.6.17 or later, or gmond 3.1.1 works around it? The latter was a bit ambiguous, I'm not sure if 3.1.1 actually does so. -- Cos ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Ganglia-general mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ganglia-general
