Hi Steve:

What you should have done is after setting up Server B, copy the
contents of /var/lib/ganglia/rrds over from Server A *before* starting
gmetad on Server B.

Assuming all the configurations are identical between Server A and
Server B, the web interface should display both the history data
originally from Server A and any new data being collected on Server B.
 You may run into issues like mismatched hostnames, etc, so pay
attention to the directory names inside /var/lib/ganglia/rrds.

As to what you can do now -- if you are okay with losing the new data
you have collected so far from Server B, you can attempt what I have
laid out above.  If not, then you may be able to run rrdtool dump (man
rrddump) on the individual RRDs and try to merge the data.

Another option is to customize the frontend to just read the archived
RRDs from Server A as static data.  Check out this post for some
