I think it fits more as a "Consumer Report" to be maintained than an ongoing project. I suppose I should change "Champion" to something more akin to "Inspector". Can you create a Consumer Report (or maybe Gardener Report?) section in the main Gardeners Project page with some description about what constitutes this category of documentation? Actually, on second thought, maybe a proper Gardener project can be created to appropriately propose and upkeep the set of such "Consumer Reports" designed to evaluate libraries grouped by some category of library function. I'm thinking it would be a good entry point for those new to Common Lisp (like myself) to get involved with the overall Gardening efforts, to research appropriate existing libraries and actually *try them out* for consumer use evaluation (which is missing in the current report). Some other areas that such project can attempt to address are implementations of lisp that the library can run on (i.e. SBCL, Allegro, CMUCL, etc.), porting issues (if any), and performance metrics (if dedicated enough). I'll be happy to Champion such a project and put it up on the wiki for evaluation if it sounds like a fitting Gardeners project. -Peter _______________________________________________ Gardeners mailing list [email protected] http://www.lispniks.com/mailman/listinfo/gardeners
