As far as a pre-drying arrangement, using chimney heat to warm a feed auger
works well, BUT, don't tempt an engineering firm to design this, as it is a
"cutting edge" method (way out of their area of knowledge). Look to people
directly involved in gasification, Andy Shofield or one of the longstanding
posters on this list would be a good start. I can assist at a later date, on
this if needed, but I'm currently booked to at least mid June of 2011.....

Wouldn't condensation be a big problem with the moisture levels up near 50%.
 With the gasifier I can condense out the the moisture prior to combustion.
