henri, the plasco plant seems to be doing many things right. they are
running a waste heat driven pyrolyzer with a second stage gas cleanup
via plasma. they claim 1mwh from 1 ton of input, which seems
unreasonably high for a plasma system, especially on mixed trash. on
the other hand, they are clearly very real and not just a forward
looking press release. the plant exists and seems characterized over
several years, so maybe they are in fact getting this yield. that's
impressive.

more info on the plant is here:
http://www.plascoenergygroup.com/our-technology/the-plasco-process/

at various places on their site they claim the pyrolysis is done with
waste heat and in others they claim a partial oxygen pyrolysis.
henri, do you know more of the specifics? are you working on this
plant?
