What was it like going to a UM night game at the Orange Bowl?
Is there any reason why ACC fans did not like going to UM games?

Okay, I am going to chime in here.I am not a usual proponent of running up the score on anyone. I do believe in never taking your foot of the gas, and in this particular case I am suggesting we also hit the nitrous bottle.Being a lifelong Miami resident (except for my time in G’ville) I have had to endure a pretty rough 20 or so years. I can’t explain, at least in mixed company, the extent of my dislike for UM and their fans. These fans that showed up in 48,000 numbers for their home opener in a new stadium, of which 21,000 where free tickets given to staff at UM, and was further bolstered by at least 10 Gator fans sitting in section 429 which purchased $99 UM Season Tickets so they could get 2 tickets to the UM/UF in Gainesville. They continue to brag about their 5 National Championships , but forget to mention the losing seasons in between those(my personal take 2 pairs beats 5 of a kind).Usually fans trash talking is kept at the game, not here, it is a constant and daily thing, I get that damn U thrust at me at stoplights, by children even.I remind them of the night a few years back in which the Orange and Blue took over their home basketball court and made the Gators appearance in Miami, to the extent their point guard may a remark in the paper that it pissed him off! They’re response, “We don’t follow basketball”, geez, I follow the Lady Gators Softball, have some pride.I find UM fans more annoying than FSU, Tennessee, Georgia, and the entire SEC COMBINED!Urban, for my sanity, hang a c note on them.DEEP IN ENEMY TERRITORY I REMAIN…Bleeding Orange and BlueMarcelo CortesPast PresidentGator Club(R) of Miami305-866-5047
