It seems that how litigious society has become, if UF at least implements the helmet rule, then parents would be less liable to try to sue the university in the case that a severe accident would happen to their child who happens to be out of their direct supervision. Just another point to ponder. Geez. This phys. ed. teacher has entirely too much time on his hands! Let’s see: Phys. ed. teachers’ conference in 2 weeks, coaching association convention in 3 weeks, football practice in 6 weeks. That means school (for me) starts in 7.
