Clearly Tim Tebow is an asset on and off the field. He is a media darling.and deserves it.
As far as the one loss SEC Champion. It does not look like the SEC champion will have one loss. At this point, it looks like an Alabama-Florida rematch. But here's my take on the guy: I don't think there's a better X's and O's guy in the business, particularly at reading alignments and tendencies during the game. That alone makes him worth listening/paying attention to for me. My biggest annoyance with him is that he seems to select what his pet "talking point" for the game will be beforehand, and he beats that point to death. During last year's game against Georgia his talking point was how great Matt Stafford is. He even shrugged of the INT's he threw by saying that they were due to his "gunslinger mentality" as though that alone made up for the poor decisions that led to them. Last night it seemed that he wanted to talk about the speed of LSU's defensive back seven. To his credit, as the game went on he gave major props to the UF offensive line. He does seem to favor one team each game, and if it's not us it sounds pretty bad. But there have ben games where we've been on the other side of that, we just don't notice it when he praises our guys because he's saying things we already know/agree with. And we may owe him a huge debt of gratitude for the way he detailed, on national TV during the SECCG against Arkansas, why we should be included in the NC game instead of Michigan.
