Careful. "Red" was the code word for "kill" when I went through that
ultra-secret, mind-altering, CIA experimental assassin training in the 70's.
OOPS! Too late. Everyone in the house is dead. I guess the de-programming
didn't work. :(

Rob was also EXTREMELY helpful during my recent computer crash problem. He
helped me figure out how to keep all my data safe in the future. I would do
anything to help him.

Isn't communication betwee humans illusory and fun? We actually all think we
are describing the same experience when we say 'red' to each other.

Thanks for understanding, and just to keep the record straight… I want it
noted that Leon is the only member of this group that I will ever intentionally
insult… but he SO deserves it. :-)

Ok, apology accepted. I seem to be the only person on the list who took it
wrongly. But, since it was me it was directed to I reserve the right to take
it wrongly.

  Just kidding.

Any way, I apologize too for being so touchy about it. Thanks to everyone
who felt a need to help out here.

  Now, back to Gator stuff.

Well that just shows how clueless I am. It wasn’t until I read your message,
Zeb, that I even thought of the standalone word ‘boy’ in that phrase and all
the negative connotations that go with it. I grew up riding and training horses
and ‘easy boy’ was something you said when a horse got agitated to calm him
down. Where I live, it’s just a common way of saying ‘ hold on, don’t get
upset, let me explain’ when someone starts to get angry about something.
Seriously, Oliver, if you took it as the pejorative use of ‘boy’ then I do
apologize. Nothing could have been further from my mind.

But, when you use a derogatory term such as "easy boy" in addressing me I

Just how old are you ancient one?

Just a view from the bleachers, but I read the phrase in the sense of trying
to calm a dangerous opponent, such as an attack dog.

I am familiar with the other pejorative uses of the term "boy," and didn't
read any into its usage here.
