I am sure that Ron Zook would not return for a mere assistant coach's salary. However, if he did, it might be an interesting hire. Zook was a good assistant coach. He has NFL experience. His specialty is special teams. Most importantly, however, is that I believe that Urban Meyer could be a tremendous teacher for him. If Zook would be willing to learn, this is just the kind of job that might be able to raise him to the next level. While I never believed that Zook had significant character issues, he did have some judgment and discipline lapses. Urban could help him with that.
