I think the 'ego' thing would preclude a re-hire. Kind of like NBC asking Conan to move to 12:05 after he was 'The Man' at 11:30. I doubt Zook would accept an assistant position at a school where he had been head coach. Assistant somewhere else, maybe. But not UF. He and Foley have not spoken since 'that day' as far as I know. Probably too many hard feelings. It was very hard on Foley to have to fire him. If Zooker has invested his salary wisely, he doesn't need to work anymore if Illinoise-in-the-system cans him.
