Why is expansion such a good thing? Doesn't it just mean that we'd have to share the revenue with more schools? Unless they're really going to bring in more than they take away, I don't get it.
I see no advantage to adding Miami or FSU. The SEC already has the Florida TV market and letting Miami or FSU in would take away one of our recruiting advantages. Bringing in Texas would add a new state and thus more TV interest/revenue--and possibly help the Gators recruit in Texas. The drawback of course is that we'd be making it more difficult for the Gators to become SEC champions?
