OK - this is a team that has problems (I'll give you that, but not "lousy").
We may not have more underclassmen on the roster than any of the schools you cited, or even than on the average NCAA FBS roster. But I'll venture that we may have one of the most inexperienced teams (as in minutes played in previous years vs minutes played this year) in the same division. That being said, I think that the unit that has the most returning experience on our whole squad, the OL, is also the most underperforming. (Not coincidentally, they are the largest position group that plays in games, and their coach has to divide his time because he's also the offensive coordinator. ) So, if you want to cling to your assertion that having 50 underclassmen on the roster doesn't mean that we're young, so be it - congratulations, you win (probably). It doesn't change my assertion that we are a young (as in experienced players playing in the games) team.
