Charley Pell as one of the greatest program builders?  Sure, I'm on board with that.  He built Clemson into a national champion, and UF into a should-have-been national champion. Charley Pell as one of the greatest coaches?  I don't agree.  He coached so tight sometimes he squeezed the air out of himself and the team.  Note that both Clemson and UF had their greatest success after new head coaches took over. --Jong oli...@bobparks.com wrote: Any conversation about greatest coaches should include Charlie Pell.
