I know why: The team is in a downward spiral. That's the same reason fans are not going to be enthused about buying tickets to the bowl game. If you think the team is getting better, you're excited to watch the improvement (Tennessee). If you think the team is getting worse, you certainly don't want to pay money to watch in person. If you think the current coaches have no clue about how to get the team playing better, you don't even want to watch on TV.
