Janoris is not eligible for the draft this year. He did not declare for
the draft in time (sometime in late Jan). He could be eligible to be
taken in the "supplemental draft" if the NFL holds it this year. It
will depend on how the CBA goes as to whether or not he will get the
opportunity. Most think that he will transfer to a FCS school to play
this year and be eligible for the draft next year. He has no one to
blame for this mess but himself.

I think this was an opportune moment for the new coach and Jenkins both.
Poor Janoris will only make $500000 or more next year.
That said, I suppose it’s good it worked out this way. Makes
Muschamp look a no nonsense guy.
