It would be interesting to see over the past 5 years or so, how many scholarship football players have voluntarily transferred from each SEC school. It does seem that UF has had more than its share of guys who walked away of their own accord. Unsettled head coaching situations are hard on a team. Meyer certainly did us no favor by leaving-then-returning, and now there’s a whole new staff and the senior QB goes down. Not a good situation for winning. Just a run of bad luck, it happens to everyone.

Danny was redshirt freshman when he started for UF, Mathews was a 3rd year sophomore, but was learning a new system. In most situations, Driscoll and Brissette would be redshirting this year…which probably would have done a world of good for both these guys, but we don’t have the luxury.
