We were actually doing pretty good until Brantley started showing signs of pain in the second half. This shouldnt be too much of a surprise. Some things.. Yes. Record somewhat of their performance... No. Not surprised.

See I wasn't at any of the practices, so I'm not sure, but I believe we are poorly coached, poorly disciplined, poorly conditioned, not taking advantage of what few playmakers we have and we are seemingly unable to make in game gameplan changes. They can play all the mind games they want, Brantley is starting, no he isn't. We play all faceless nameless opponents, blah, blah, blah. What we have is a coach who is getting paid millions for on the job training. We are Florida, we shouldn't have to settle for this. And no, I am not an entitled Gator, but I do expect a better performance than we have seen the last four games. I did go into this year expecting some bumps, 7-5 or 8-4 was what I expected. I figured we would lose to Bama and LSU, but not by 4 TDs! We have more talent than Auburn or UGA, but still we lose. Yes the talent we have was recruited for the spread, but isn't it the coaches job to modify his system to work with the talent available? And it's not like pro set players aren't the same ones being recruited for the spread, I mean, we have 3 OL, 3 WR, 1 QB and numerous D players starting in the NFL, all products of the spread. We look lost and this coaching staff installs zero confidence in me. If we were showing some improvement, I could at least be encouraged, but we aren't. I was hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but unfortunately, it is a train.... Time to stat drinking, how is it said, so it will feel like I got kicked by a mule in the morning? He is dangerously close to being the next Zook. I hope not. I never want to be Zooked again. As Stephen eluded to earlier, we have a long way to go to have the personnel to compete. Its going to be a long 2 years... Oline looked incapable. Perhaps the zone blocking recruits can't handle a pro style blocking scheme. We need to be bigger AND stronger. We have no receivers. None. Where was debose? Non existent. Much like our downfield threat. These guys may be able to play a spread, but not a pro style. We need a possession receiver. Someone with size, like Alli.... a monster size. Much like the TWO receivers who caught fade routes on our tiny DBs.
