I think the foreboding sense is we may have hired another Zook, if that
is the case no amount of recruiting classes or roster enhancements will
bring us back. We're seeing what appears to me as a poorly coached team.

No one likes losing, but for a lot of people who follow the team year
round, where we are right now is no surprise.
Most educated predictions had us going 8-4, if everything went as
expected. Some things that didn't go that way:
Losing both starting corners from a year ago - one kicked off of the
team and one with an injury that just won't heal.
Losing the only QB on the roster with experience early in our first
tough game. His backup who had only played sparingly, also got hurt in
that game, so when we went to take on the #1 team in the nation at
their house, we did so with a QB that had never taken a snap in a
college game before.
For those of you that say we are just as talented as (fill in the
blank), you may not be aware of the number of tranfers/expulsions that
we've endured.
Saban was 6-6 his first year at 'Bama. Yes, they were on probation,
which limited his roster numbers, but circumstances have given
Muschamp and staff the same kind of numbers to work with, and a number
of the players left are NOT a fit in any offense other than the spread
option.
Yeah, it sucks losing four in a row, and there's really no excuse for
all of the false start and delay penalties. We'll be back. And I think
this staff will get us there. But it won't happen overnigtt. Next year
will likely only show incremental improvement, so buckle in, load up
on drugs, do something else on Saturdays - whatever you need to do to
get through it. The Gators have seen much darker days, and no team is
immune from having their turn on the downside of the cycle. If fans of
any rival teams taunt you particularly cruelly take note - they'll get
theirs.
Like we used to say leaving the stadium during the really bad days,
"It's great - to - a Florida Gator"!

In all fairness to the receivers, there were several times in the
second half that they were open, but the ball was thrown badly. Now,
that might be the blame of the O-line not protecting Brantley, but the
receivers were doing their job.
