I just got notified that my DSL line is set up and am waiting for my
"welcome package" from Earthlink that contains a DSL modem and all the
other goodies to hook up to the brave new world of broadband --

but they include instructions and software for Mac and Wintel boxes
only. Imagine that.

I'm going to be running this through my Gnatbox and was wondering if there
was something special that I had to do. AFAIK all I need is another NIC
and a straight through cable, and set up the external interface to be DHCP
rather than PPP. Would that be it?

I forget what version I'm on -- it's old, but I plan on upgrading to the
current GB-Light release at the same time.

I couldn't find it in a cursory glance -- do I need to re-register to
regain the 5-user license after upgrading? I believe I'm still on a 3.x
version... so technically it's a minor release.

Thanks for the help.
